You do realize the movies had vastly different aesthetics depending on the director. And again the longest lotr book is 400 pages and the longest hp book is ~900, so much more content not touched

I also read The Secret History of Star Wars(if I remember correctly) back then and it made me realize how much better the prequels should've been.
