@JamieDNaylor No, I definitely have this nightmare. I also have this dream where the conductor calls me out, just around the piccolo solo and says 'right, you take it from here' But that's normal right?

Do you stress dream about being in the chorus for Mahler Resurrection Symphony and when the conductor calls you out and makes you sing an interval of a fifth, no matter how hard you try you can only sing an octave or are you normal.

Intrigued to discover that Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor is unavailable on ISMLP. No problem with Lyapunov’s Etudes, Alkan’s ‘Le Festin’, or Stanchinsky’s Notturno, but no B minor Sonata. Flummoxed.

Over 400,000 impressions for my tweet about youth orchestras last week and my thread of follow-ups. Although not everyone greeted my thoughts as enthusiastically as hoped for, it's great to know so many people are interested. Young people deserve to know we care.

It's popular to bash Regietheater these days but I often rather like the weird and wacky productions. But I was delighted with how this relatively traditional staging really got to the heart of #siegfried, thank you @AmyOperaGirl
