Having a single runway at the home of your silver bullet stealth bomber fleet — a force that costs tens of billions in aircraft & infrastructure & is part of the nuclear deterrent — in the middle of rural Missouri seems like a pretty bizarre practice that should probably change.

Two-year update: I got so many replies to this that said "No way! @AlaskaAir is good!" Literally every one of my (and @pardonmycrumbs) interactions with them has been awful (at best) to nightmarish (at worst). RIP to an (actually) special airline (@VirginAmerica).
