Have decided to post my own odds line on whichever Mnr races I deem appropriate. Not a value-line. I don't do that. But instead, my best estimate of closing odds. These odds will be posted on the website (very near completion) from which I intend to livestream very soon. The website will also include track bias notes, a bit of written analysis, and a special section for me to vent. Sections on the site will be: Home Odds Track Bias The Torture Chamber Cinches & Grinches Brief bio In addition to this text content (and live commentary on Mnr races), I do intend to post some recordings. All of my content, both written and verbal, will cover only the two tracks with which I'm familiar and fire live rounds on: Mountaineer and Mahoning. * No illusions that the world of racing in any way needs me. But I very much need racing.

Made field trip to Mahoning yesterday to cash old ticket. Crowd so sparse and atmosphere so depressing that I left after just one race. There is just no "there" there. The trackside experience now exists only in my mind. I want to remember it as it was.

@CarlosGArango A GREAT video. It shows the difference between a maximum effort and less than maximum effort. Date of the race and circumstances are meaningless. It demonstrates she CAN be urged aggressively with an animated hand ride. There seemed to be no negative response to those tactics.

Turf Paradise has to be the most significant improvement of any track I have ever seen. The first year under new management and ownership has brought about major enhancements to the facility. I had a great day and will be returning very soon.

@JonLindo60 I don't think this is a racing office or Tampa management issue. It appears to be state licensing . And I agree I've always been told @TampaBayDownsFL does amazing work. They're a little lacking in announcer choice. But other than that...

100% unacceptable. Trainers are held accountable. Owners are held accountable. Who holds the racing officials accountable? Take your case to track management at Tampa - some good people there.

@Anabellashaw1 @goofonroof My buddy said it will pay that, but it doesn’t necessarily mean a winning ticket exists to those specific horses. I said wrong, a ticket exists…that’s why they call it Will Pays.

@goofonroof Goof, settle an argument between myself and a buddy. At TUP today, looking at the P6 Will Pays after Race 7, four horses had Will Pays of $128,191.20. I believe that means at least one ticket is alive to each of those 4 horses. Buddy says not necessarily true.
