Church can be profitable. Ministry can be profitable.
In fact, as you grow as a minister, you will begin to see significant financial opportunities.
You will have many members whom you can subtly nudge to sow “seeds” into you.
You will have a social media channel that you can monetize.
You will have ministrations that bring honoraria.
You will have a name that opens doors.
Many opportunities will naturally arise as a minister or ministry grows.
It is important not to fix your gaze on them, consider them as your motivation, or be driven by them.
During the course of Jesus’ ministry, He had the opportunity to be made king. He refused:
“When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.” — John 6:15
During the course of Paul’s ministry, he was treated as a god. He refused:
“Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out.” — Acts 14:14
During the course of Paul’s missionary journeys, he had opportunities to become an elite, celebrated figure among cities.
He did not pursue that.
I am here to tell you: these opportunities will arise. But the fact that they are present and possible does not mean they should be acted upon.
Focus on your ministry.
Man of God, preach the Word:
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” — 2 Timothy 4:2
Be faithful as a steward:
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2
Conduct yourself in sincerity and godly integrity:
“For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity… we have had our conversation in the world.” — 2 Corinthians 1:12
Be careful to fulfill your ministry:
“Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.” — Colossians 4:17
Your ministry is to build the people of God into the holy image of Jesus.
Fulfill it.

Great returning to the field again after a long time.
Our brothers in Kor William (SPC) invited us (@agapechurchgurie) for a football.
We played well but lost the match at the end.

Today under @iampeaceafrica , I hosted an inter school debate at Supiri Secondary School.
With many public schools across the remaining almost empty, this campaign "Back To Learning" is aimed at encouraging schools going children to report back to classes.
