The Seahawks had the NFL's best special teams in 2025 -- and according to ESPN Analytics, it was not close. Stoll was an underrated part of that. You probably did not hear his name mentioned once on the broadcast, which is always a good thing for long-snappers.

The Seahawks are re-signing LS Chris Stoll to a two-year deal, a source confirms (@TomPelissero was first). Stoll was set to become a restricted free agent.

The cheapest tender is worth around $3.5M and no long-snapper makes more than $1.65M per year. So don't expect a tender for Stoll, but I wouldn't be surprised if Seattle gives him a multi-year deal.

Great escape from Levi’s:
Got trapped behind tall fence with two other reporters trying to find buses back to SF
Climbed onto concrete barriers and tried to call for help; no luck
Found small fence opening held together by chain, pried it wider, took turns contorting ourselves to get thru like Anglin brothers escaping Alcatraz
Realized buses we saw were for patriots family/staff; said hi to PR director Stacey James as he boarded; don’t think he expected to see us there
Needed to cut thru convention center to find media buses
Security would not let us thru; negotiations ensued
Dining room staff opened back door — we made it out!
Rounded corner, entered giant parking lot, spotted bus in distance parked on street; was this it?
Sprinted toward it
Bus pulls away before I get there, but has to stop at red light; a chance!
I catch up; amazingly, driver lets me on
Other two guys didn’t make it
Hopefully this bus is not going to Tijuana
