It’s imperative that we revert to STANDARD, not Daylight time, for two reasons, one of which you may have never considered.
You know the first: solar noon is closest to 12 o’clock all year. That means an equal number of hours before and after noon each day.
This also means earlier sunrises which are significantly better for establishing a healthy circadian rhythm.
The second reason is that nearly ONE THIRD of US counties are in the wrong timezone.
A significant swath of the country isn’t only an artificial hour ahead because of daylight time… but TWO HOURS ahead of true solar time.
Year-round daylight time, especially without recalibrating time zones, would establish this error permanently, affecting millions of Americans.
We should be letting the Sun dictate the day the way God made it. Arbitrary, artificial tampering would be worse for us all.
Fix the time zones and affix standard time.

This is the wrong way to do it.
If you don’t like time changes, then what you want is Permanent Standard Time, *not* Permanent DST.
Permanent DST was already tried in the 70s, and it failed so hard we changed it back — kids were going to school in the pitch black during winter!

In the CFP Era (2014-Current), WSU has the 5th best winning % among former PAC-12 programs (behind Oregon, Washington, Utah, USC).

Saying "Cal Berkeley" is like saying "Ole Miss Oxford" or "Mizzou Columbia" or "UCLA Los Angeles" or "Penn State College Station" or "Texas Austin."
Doesn't make any sense. Not sure why Cal seems to be the only school with this problem.

@baileytparsons It's not that complicated. "University of California, Berkeley" is correct. "UC" is an abbreviation for "University of California" so "UC Berkeley" is fine too. "Cal" is a nickname for UC Berkeley, usually associated with athletics. "Cal Berkeley" is incoherent and wrong.

POWERFUL: Former 6-foot-8 BYU standout Eli Herring REFUSED to play in the #NFL because he would not work on Sundays due to his religious beliefs.
Before the draft, Herring told teams not to select him, making it clear he would not play because of his beliefs surrounding the Sabbath.
The #Raiders still drafted him in the 6th round, but Herring stayed true to his faith and never played a single snap in the NFL.
Herring says he has no regrets, despite believing he had the talent to become one of the league’s best.
