A privilege to work on this 56 year old vine today. It was putting all its weight on a crumbling fence line. I pruned it by taking away a 3rd and supporting it at main points using supports. Hopefully the open frame and less wind resistance will see some new growth 🙂💪🏻👌🏻👍🏻

I have a week off! It’s half term, I’m torn between quality family time and all my babies in the green house that I’ve left behind. Luckily I still have to pop in to water them!

Strange as it seems, POB'S PROGRAMME (1985) caused a bit of a kerfuffle. Each week, Pob blew on the camera lens and wrote their name on the condensation. This was mistaken for spitting, and parents and Mary Whitehouse alike were outraged that C4 was raising a nation of gobbers.
