Kory Teneycke on the CPC shadow cabinet shuffle: "A lot of the shadow cabinet before were no names and useless and of low profile, which is exactly what an insecure leader wants to do. Insecure people like to be surrounded by low profile losers. So the bigger the loser you are, the more you want to be surrounded by the losers."

It's a very easy way to see how far the CPC has traveled: you can almost chart how they have been radicalized by a combination of Liberal rule, the Trump era, Covid, the rise of propaganda on the right, etc.
Andrew Leach 🇨🇦@andrew_leach

It's been interesting watching conservative Twitter over the last few days, particularly in the wake of the @acoyne column. There is such a stark difference between the level of engagement of those who were around PMSH and those who are the leading messengers of the CPC today.

If there was ever any doubt, the Gordie Howe Bridge fiasco proves it: You can't trust Trump's America, or any deal within this administration's orbit. thewalrus.ca/the-gordie-how…

After PMO shakeup, Carney brings in capable professionals, but some Liberals and pundits say the new hires lack the political organizational experience needed for party’s success, @abbas_rana1 reports Find out more at nationalnewswatch.com

You don't have to be a genius to leave Elon Musk speechless in a live interview. Despite his carefully cultivated image, he's often out of his depth, and whatever judgment he has seems increasingly clouded by ideology, xenophobia, and grievance. That said, he was up against Zanny Minton Beddoes, the first female Editor-in-Chief of The Economist, an exceptionally accomplished, sharp, and experienced journalist. Elon never really stood a chance.

Love how this intelligent woman obliterated Elon Musk. In fact he has said all those things

Let's say, it happens to be Jason Kenney who somehow replaces Pierre Poilievre instead of Doug Ford? Would YOU vote for Jason Kenney, or would you still prefer Pierre Poilievre? Let me know in the comment section.

I feel like the people still supporting Poilievre generally live in a very different Canada than I do. I see it in my own family. There’s a real lack of appreciation for Canada and for what Canadians have built. We can strive for better without shitting on what we have.
