Not used twitter in years but I really do think we need to be doing more to educate the public on the benefits of grazing and the conservation work farmers and gamekeepers do after someone in the pub said to me I don’t agree with what we would call strip grazing.

It now costs £111,000 to employ three 21 year olds on minimum wage for 40hrs per week each. Next time you complain about the price of the Timothy Taylor’s at the GC bare this in mind This is not sustainable for many businesses

Just my opinion but i’ve kennelled my dogs for the last 3 months and they seem better behaved for it anyone else of the same opinion the only problem i’ve had has been increased barking from them being disturbed and my bitches fighting.

Walked the 🐕 out of the village this morning. Bonkers HPR 🐕 comes bounding up.. tangling in amongst my dogs and their leads.. Starts barking in their faces… I tell the owner to put it on a lead.. I’m told “he’s ok.. he’s only saying hello..” I shout put it on a lead… 1/2

@duffy1972 I drove 860 miles on one tank 2 weeks ago for £80 68.9 mpg on the motorway I’m only doing a 2 hour trip today it’s crazy how it costs me £11.40 to go to swindon and back but to go up north and back today is £111 it’s 4x the distance 🤦🏻‍♂️

@Dave_724 It's a joke especially if you times that by say 3 people. We've looked at getting the train upto Edinburgh to watch Scotland but the auld barge at 48mpg is way cheaper

Just had a quote to replace one injector for my car some mild swearing was involved just looked at the train ticket price to get me somewhere tomorrow more swearing ocoured the price of the train ticket would buy me enough fuel to drive 1400 miles 🤦🏻‍♂️

Shooting the Semi auto masters at Barbury this morning only down side is i’ve two taxis and a train to take before getting there I was unfortunate enough to breakdown on Wednesday on the way back from a comp and now have no car fuel injectors are expensive 🤦🏻‍♂️

Heading up to Thimbleby shooting ground next weekend certainly wasn’t expecting that for a day trip out 😂

Happy with a 78 still unclassified would of won Saturdays shoot only shot 4 comps since February and probably not even that in practice first time at LW on Saturday I’d like to be into A class within 3-6 months it’s achievable !

Still can’t get my head around if i hadn’t of dropped 2 single targets on two stands and 2 pairs i would of won high gun at my first club shoot at Lady’s wood shooting school i’d have to shoot another 12-14 on average to win HG any where else !

4th comp i’ve shot this year and i’ve just shot a 78 x 100 at english sporting high gun won on a 86 i’ll take that all day long hoping to get into the high 80s soon !

@TheEnglish1920 It’s call being controlled i like my own space and the pub but my social life is non exsistent after the last few years competitive clay shooting is my passion which i use to get moaned at for !
