Obvious issues include: • (Illegal) supply chain • licence compliance • product quality testing Etc. Thai authorities don’t seem to have a solid grasp on any of this, and currently sat in limbo whilst a new gov is decided. Seems that an economic rationality trumped all else.

Just got back from Thailand… looking like the Wild West of weed. No limits on THC potency, no limits on purchase amount. I asked if it would be possible for me to buy 5kg of 50%+THC imported cannabis… “no problem, just need to call supplier”.

研究仲間のデイビットの研究報告書です。 『違法薬物政策に関する実務家の見解』の全ての研究結果はこちらからお読みいただけます。bit.ly/3M05dX4 本報告書は、違法薬物政策に関して日本における多様な実務家の見解を体系的に比較する、初の実証的研究の成果を提供する。実務家間の視点においてどの程度の一致と対立があるのかを分析し、この変化し続ける状況下における政策に対し、それらがどのような意味を持つのかという問いを考察しようとするものである。

興味深い研究。全体的傾向として、実務家は薬物使用者と実際に関わり専門的知見を獲得することで、違法薬物使用者に対する視点が”犯罪者”から”患者”に変わり、刑罰ではなく支援が必要と考え、代替案を模索する等の変化が生じるとのこと。
