@GrasstecLtd The idea of tailpaint is to lift the hair with the brush and then when the hair is flat it’s good indication the cow is in heat. That’s also way too much paint, it’s only needs a small amount
RainBó Roller tail paint has been designed with easy, rapid application in mind, greatly reducing application times compared to some existing brush applicators. grasstecgroup.com/product/rainbo…

@fairleigh_ag Where I work we also run a contracting business alongside the dairy herd and they refuse to chop grass on fields that haven’t been rolled.
Could my euro farming friends care to explain to me the theory behind rolling grass fields before silage? Is it purely flatten any pugging & push stones into the soil or does it magically make more grass grow? Genuinely curious.
@Dave_Madeley We did last year, it didn't analyse very well, but stretched out feed stocks during the drought when grazing was tricky. Definitely better feed value grazed fresh, must be high 20's protein (judging by the dung), plus, less work cutting, contractor cost, plastic.
This stuff is rocket fuel for cows!! 🚀
Why didn't we graze some of the Rye last year 🤦♂️.
High yielding robotically milked cover crop munching moos...
+ 💩 for this years 🌽
🪱💩🌱🌿🌾🐄🤖🧀
@Dave_Madeley Alot of ours will be cut, probably baled, but a field closer to yard is being grazed as a trial, probably plan more grazing of rye next year. Rye + Maize both zero tilled so it fits nicely
@CanadianCowMan Iv moved all bar two neck rails in our shed so that the neck rail is 2.2 meters forward from the base of the curb, has made a difference
