The bravery of Mr. Deely and his students is emblematic of everyone in Tumbler Ridge. In their heroic actions are the seeds of recovery for this community. Better days will come. For now, we hold tightly to the memory of those we’ve lost and wrap these families with love.

Donald Trump’s loss is BC’s gain. Thousands of US doctors, nurses and health professionals are applying to work in BC, because our system is based on the needs of the patient — not their ability to pay. BC now has more doctors per person than anywhere else in Canada.

🛑 But the BC Conservatives have said healthcare would "take the brunt" of their cuts. That would take us backwards and make it harder to get healthcare. That's a risk we can't afford. (6/6)

The new medical school opens in September and that next generation of doctors will start graduating in 2030. We need to keep going - recruiting and training more doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers of all kinds. (5/6)
