I am totally surprised how CAs with 10 plus years of experience don’t know the basic taxation about FnB business. Input tax, TDS, zomato swiggy sales etc etc Have found at least 8-10 cases in the last 1 year!

Rule 86B of CGST rules, which was introduced as a means to curb fraudulent ITC, will turn out to be a dangerous tool in the hands of the department. Especially in the case of a new business, there are high chances that the past two financial year income tax payable would be less than Rs 1,00,000. It is a request to @cbic_india to expand the exemptions to this rule and also include current financial year income tax paid in the proviso (a) to the above rule. @nsitharaman
