@HonCavan1 @RTEsport When the GAH get their disproportionately large share of government sports funding it's because it's 'well deserved'. When football or any other sport looks for funding it's a 'handout'. Football is the single biggest team sport in Ireland in terms of participation.

@RTEsport Why cant clubs raise the money locally for pitches? GAA clubs can do it for pitches twice the size. They community fund raise. Soccer clubs just seem to constantly moan about not getting funds handed to them.
