Hey all - the entire family is sick and traveling. Will try to come back up for air soon. $TE Q4 results missed expectation but the company maintained G2_Austin construction timing and runrate guidance. The market also expected another offtake agreement by end of Q1, which I think is coming soon.
While the company had outstanding execution over 2025, it’s a startup and there will be hiccups. The current market environment is lukewarm to positive results and punishes misses. I’m holding long-term and not changing my position. Need to listen to the conference call and will give thoughts later.

Great to see Rocket Lab get their foot in the European Market door. The ESA and IRIS constellation come to mind. Expanding their reach with a European footprint is another step toward servicing the globe.
If that was not enough, Rocket Lab founder and CEO Peter Beck decided to reduce his salary to $1, remove his eligibility for a bonus, and cancel over $20 million dollars of RSUs.

After that, batches of 3 satellites via SpaceX Falcon 9 and eventually batches of 6-8 satellites will be on Blue Origin New Glenn.

It still sometimes amazes me that within just a few years, the idea that an area would not have cell phone coverage (especially quality coverage) regardless of how far off the main road it is will be looked at the same way dial up internet is by younger generations.

The upcoming SpaceX IPO is bringing a massive amount of attention toward the space sector.
There should be a re-rating of many companies within the sector as money flows into Space ETFs, mutual funds, more institutional investment, and some retail. As savvy folks take a closer look at the specifics, expect some companies to re-rate more significantly and sustainably than others.
The numbers being discussed are big. Apparently, SpaceX is looking to raise upwards of $75 billion. That would be more than the combined market caps of AST SpaceMobile and Rocket Lab as of market close today to give you an idea of how much gelt.

AST SpaceMobile and FirstNet, completing the circle at long last.
High quality connectivity in environments where cell towers have gone down, or do not exist at all (rural and remote areas), is vital for First Responders. This will save lives for those needing help, and those providing the help. The individuals who selflessly run toward danger when others are in need deserve the best physical and digital tools in order for them to successfully do their job.
This is not new news to anyone who has been closely following the company, but it will be a shock to many who have not been. Market participants will be forced to take a much closer look at the company, evaluate future cash flows plus growth, competition within the space, the moat, and after all that should come to the conclusion that:

The business strategy laid out 4-5 years ago has been consistently followed by management. As a result, the progress of the company has been undeniable and the market is clearly recognizing that.

After the upcoming New Glenn launch, AST's next launch will also take place from the Space Coast, but Wisniewski didn't name the rocket or specify how many BlueBirds would be encapsulated under its payload fairing.
