The monument/pedestal dedicated to Robert E. Lee, who was stripped of his U.S. citizenship after the Civil War, was removed from downtown Fort Myers. Buh-bye. Sayanora. See ya later. Not sure by whom, but it happened sometime after dark last night/early this morning.

I always remember camping out for games in college and Roy bringing us pizza and donuts, once signed a personal autograph for my dad for his birthday. Hurt like hell when he left KU but feels fantastic to see him back in the Phog and welcomed so warmly.

I'll never forget how Roy advocated for the Rules of Basketball to come to Kansas when they were up for auction back in 2012. Carolina was home, but he never stopped being a Jayhawk. #KUbball
