@Tbyrnes2 To be fair, you tweeted at me w/ zero substance & continued doing so, so you brought the negativity 😂 I’m not being negative, just being a realist and asking questions as a concerned supporter. You’re the irrational fan who doesn’t know sobeit and so be it are different

@DavidASterling Stop tweeting at me. You’re too intelligent for me. And TBH, I don’t like your loser negative energy. Not what I want today. Have a good weekend slugger. And stop watching the Loons, you’re no longer welcome to support this team. Bye.

@DavidASterling Correct, he’s give up 15 goals in two games important. The fact the team and staff kept it to 9 was AMAZING.

@Tbyrnes2 The assistant coach tweet had nothing to do with Cam’s competence. It was lack of readiness and motivation from the FO. I pulled in Cam’s competence a few tweets later. The two are separate issues, but not entirely exclusive as you have mentioned.

@DavidASterling Again, you’re debating? And the direction is cam’s competence. Which is what that tweet was 100% about. I think you’re just confused. Some random on his sofa who never played calling the FO not serious is laughable. And coaches aren’t that important.

@Tbyrnes2 He’s obviously important, duh, but he’s not giving up 9 goals in two games important. No one is. In MLS that’s not even a player problem. There is too much parity. That is very much a coaching issue.

@DavidASterling How so? Are you allergic to giving actual examples. Boxall is the most important player to any team in any league. There is not a coach in the world who would coach this team to a win vs any team U18 and above without him.

@Tbyrnes2 Oh, the classic redirection. You’ve lost control of the debate and now have to restate. A serious FO goes into a season with a full squad & technical staff. These coaches play an important role in training sessions. Again, stop being obtuse.

@DavidASterling I love how you place an irrational importance on assistant coaches and why they need to be hired asap (again, why?) But Cam’s assistant coaching job didn’t count cause he’s cam and clearly they overcame him as an assistant last year.

@Tbyrnes2 😂 All teams get a home field bump. In terms of expectations in play, MNUFC would not have been an underdog. At worse, it would have been even due to first game of the season.

@Tbyrnes2 They were outplayed the entirety of the match. Bad teams get lucky all the time. MNUFC was a relatively bad team in 2024. You’re just making shit up as you go at this point.

@DavidASterling And being outplayed and yet your tactics and amazing subs got you through undefeated. Yup, typical sign of poor coaching. 🤦‍♂️. It’s okay to just appreciate things. You don’t have to be edgy so you can be different. The internet won’t think less of you.

@Tbyrnes2 ATX was a poor team in 2024 and even worse in 2023. Not sure how they were underdogs. That’s just a dumb comment.

@DavidASterling Like I said, there’s always losers (usually almost strictly on the internet) that do their best to hate on something that is almost impossible to hate. Those people do not deserve attention. They were underdogs AT ATX but that “should” be a win. Again, el oh el.

@Tbyrnes2 Knowles tactics have been awful so far. He’s getting less out of the players this year. These unknown early games are looking consistently poor. He seems entirely dependent on Boxall as a leader which suggests he doesn’t have the squad behind him either.

@Tbyrnes2 Again, adding words. Never said everyone, but there was talk. First games of a season are unknowns, teams finding their footing. ATX should have been a win, weren’t a good team, but COL & ORL we were outplayed at all stages and got lucky goals in very late stoppage to draw/win.

@DavidASterling Ha, okay Mariam Webster. You’re like one of those people that think ‘ain’t’ is a word too I bet. Have a good one, or try to at least. You sound like one of those people who hates on universally liked things to be edgy. Good times.

@Tbyrnes2 Never said he sucked. Often in any sport new coaches have initial success, be it a wild card unknown factor w/ lack of scouting & sudden change of tactics; initial morale boost to players, especially in this case; etc. There were cracks and evidence, and people talked about them

@DavidASterling My favorite part of this interaction is you saying “it was evident he couldn’t coach when he was interim” (Cam went undefeated and was widely praised as doing an awesome job.) But David thought it was EVIDENT he sucked. (Zero evidence provided) God I love you. Never change.

@Tbyrnes2 Haha. Poor attempt at a gotcha moment. Sobeit is a conjunction or noun, very old, and rarely used, meaning “provided that”. So be it, is an idiomatic phrase, meaning reluctant acceptance of something. In other words, how I used it.

@Tbyrnes2 If they leave in 18 mo, so be it. Means the FO probably chose well. Took far too long w/ Ramsay, though. Knowles is not on either Ramsay’s or Heath’s level. It was evident even as interim prior to Ramsay & is now. Though tbf, the FO has done a piss poor job of roster build

@DavidASterling So you want to hire over qualified coaches who will leave after a year or two before the team fully gets used to their style? And how do you know Cam is not on their level? He has a better record than both of the previous coaches and the best player has been hurt.

@DavidASterling So if the team doesn’t do exactly what David thinks they should do (a person who has never played soccer or has been any part of an organization) that makes the team “a joke” or “lazy” Got it.

@Tbyrnes2 You must be acting obtuse. They announced Knowles the day after Ramsay’s departure was announced. They had no intent to find a coach on the level of their previous two.

@DavidASterling So you want them to hire assistant coaches immediately before they even find a replacement head coach? Thats another interesting strategy. I appreciate your insight.

@Tbyrnes2 I should point out, we’re actually 10 full weeks separated from Ramsay leaving which means the FO has known for probably 12 or more weeks.

@Tbyrnes2 I’m saying a serious FO would have had their open coaching roles filled before week 1. Pretty sure they were short a coach before Ramsay even left, he took one, then they lost one w/immediate selection of Knowles. 8 weeks later they still hadn’t done anything. Lazy

@Tbyrnes2 I said they’re working “had” [sic] to be a joke, not they would be a joke. Ex, signing two USLC coaches 4 games in to stop hemorrhaging from their earlier bad coaching decision. 6+ weeks prior to week 1 for new coach, but chose to name Knowles permanently. That’s lazy.

@DavidASterling Never said alone, I don’t think they’ll be a joke at all. You clearly do. How much money can you wager? And sorry they don’t hire an AMITIOUS coach. I know how you people love it when those ambitious hires leave 18 months later when they work out.

@DavidASterling Anyone who uses the term “ambition” is not worth listening to. You got any cash David? Second part of the question; How much cash can you bet that they alone be a joke? Or are you just saying things on the internet you don’t actually believe?
