About two weeks ago, I took a step back from my role as the Community Developer for UGLYCASH in Nigeria. I’m proud to share that after giving my absolute best, I have officially concluded my journey with the company. Joining UGLYCASH was one of the best decisions I ever made. The journey was both beautiful and challenging. It made me realize that the limits I once thought I had were not truly my limits. I am capable of so much more, and working at UGLYCASH confirmed that. During my time at UGLYCASH, we became the 9th most downloaded finance app in Nigeria. We grew and maintained a strong base of active users. I had the privilege of hosting intensive onboarding sessions, among many other things. Most importantly, I put in unrivaled effort to get UGLYCASH on everyone’s lips, doing the things that don’t scale and aggressively putting UGLYCASH in your faces 😅 I did all of that with so much enthusiasm and diligence. But I’ve now drawn the curtain on that phase, and I’m excited for what’s next. What’s next? Before now, you’ve known me as Charis of @web3ladies, then as Charis of @base, and recently as Charis of @Uglycash. But now, it’s time for you to know me as Charis, simply Charis. I’ll be stepping back from social media for a while to refresh and restrategize. When I return, my focus will be on building my personal brand, prioritizing what truly resonates with me, and amplifying my own growth. That being said, I’m grateful to everyone who has followed, liked, shared, and supported my work.
