@JessRauchberg I am happy to have a longer conversation about this! I rely on Dragon every day, after all. Specifically, the only one suited for long term, complex writing—Dragon Professional Individual 16. Don't even THINK about the home version.

@JessRauchberg As for software I actually USE to write—EndNote, Scrivner, and Evernote are all platform agnostic—as is Snagit, my absolutely favorite screen shot software. Sorry. 🫠 Like most disabled people I know...I have a techie side. Text macros is a whole 'nother discussion.

@JessRauchberg It depends on what software you need/how you want to write. The battery power (life) on the M series macs are no joke. That's why my teaching machine is a mac...and I'm a simp for Alfred. But, I am also platform agnostic because Dragon runs natively on Windows.

So, Google is now translating cultural/dialectical codes into "standard" English. This is simultaneously funny and a bit...sad. Still, an excellent teaching tool.

@MaldalSteve True, there were fewer character-building episodes, but... there is a reason Season 1's Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad is one of my favorite episodes of the series. It's FULL of quiet character moments—alright, with Stammetz—but who doesn't like Stammetz?

Why I thought Disco was "ok": great representation, stunning visuals. But... It really suffered from the micro streaming season format. A lot of streaming shows suffer from being 10 eps rather than 25-30. No eps like "The Inner Light" to build character and relationships
