@DavidAsmanfox I homeschool my kids.the cost is less than 50$/month - for all expenses related to learning. Add all other expenses, the expense will go to 200$/month!! Unfortunately, govt is not supportive. 2-3 hrs at home= 8 hrs school

NYC spends $42,000 per K-12 student per year. NYC parochial schools cost $13,500 per year, and their scores, graduation levels, and college acceptance are far above PS’s. If we had school choice, public schools would be out of business…and NYC would have a balanced budget!

@billsmafia9876 My daughter spent the last 4 years of high school in NYC Catholic Ed (St Jean Baptiste). Most of her classmates were from relatively poor families. Many were not even Catholic. But they were so hard working because they knew the sacrifices their parents were making.

It isn't and it hasn't been for a long time. What matters in public education is funding and high test scores don't result in more funding.

But he, like Jake, were there to fight the bad guys and protect the innocent. There’s no more noble service than that. Your son is a saint, having given the ultimate for good.

On this day 13 years ago, my only son was sworn in to the US Army. In ten days, it will be 12 years since he was killed in Afghanistan 2 weeks before he was due to come home. He was just 21. This week is also Memorial Day. My greatest fear now is that he will be forgotten. Please help me remember my boy during this tough week of special dates (share if you feel inspired. It never gets easier but the love and support always helps. ♥️🇺🇸
