And Powell announced he'll stay on as Fed Chair if Kevin Warsh isn't confirmed by the Senate as the next Chair. This puts pressure on DoJ to drop the suit against Powell...a suit that's preventing Sen Tillis and others from confirming Warsh. Markets dropped more on the news.
