There's a discourse going on Twitter right now about the inclusion or lack thereof Arab minorities in the Israeli parliament. The claim is that parties are racist or far-right extremists if they deliberately refuse to cooperate with the Arab parties, and Liberal saints if they do. Now I have zero problem with Arab parliament members and historically voted for parties who regularly placed Arab politicians in prime positions for parliaments seats (shout-out Issawi Frej). There had always been very good Arab parliament members, who fought hard for their communities as well as the entire public. The Irony is that critics do not want Arabs, liberals want the current Arab-lead parties, which are by virtue right-wing conservatives. The liberal move isn't the inclusion of illiberal parties, but rather the inclusion of liberal individuals regardless of race or sector

🟢 Hamas: Settler attacks and Israeli targeting of Jerusalemites will only strengthen Palestinian resolve Senior Hamas official Mohammed Mardawi said escalating Israeli actions in occupied Jerusalem — including demolitions, raids, and attacks on residents in Qalandiya, Al-Ram, Kafr Aqab, and Issawiya — reflect what he described as a “fascist and genocidal approach” aimed at displacing Palestinians. Mardawi said the continued targeting of Jerusalemites and holy sites, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque, is part of a broader plan to Judaize the city, alter its demographics, and tighten restrictions on Palestinians. He said settler violence, arrests, and killings “will not succeed in spreading fear,” stressing that Palestinians will remain on their land and resist displacement. Mardawi also praised the resilience of Jerusalem residents and called for increased material and political support to sustain their presence in the city.
