When Brits move to Australia for ‘a better life’ it’s worth noting that what’s actually happening is them preferring to move to the other side of the planet instead of a country in Europe and having to learn a foreign language. If they spoke German in Australia literally no Brit would move there.

I wonder if Kemi Badenoch realises she's been played by Nigel Farage yet? Having spent two full days touring media studios and going so far as to fly to an oil rig … she's been hammered, left, right and centre for her nonsense drill, baby drill shtick. She claimed to be working 'with Reform' on this new anti-science, anti-economics crusade, but Farage just left her out in the cold yesterday. He's let her expend more capital, both political and financial, with her media barrage and stunts — watching from the sidelines while the credible folk in the media shred her to pieces. There are credible, moderate Tories out there still — I ask you a question. Are you happy for Badenoch to be dragged down this route? You must realise the ultimate end goal — Conservative Prime Minister, Nigel Farage. How long is she allowed to take the Tories into the gutter? Even Tufton Street must be wincing at this.

Thank you to Rory Stewart for calling the sharp rise of anti-Muslim sentiment exactly what it is - racism. History teaches us the dangers of allowing hatred of this nature to fester unchecked in a society. We need more strong & influential voices to take a stance against this.
