Now seems like a pretty good time to remind everyone that @DavidCCrowley just hired the Milwaukee Public Schools budget leader to run Milwaukee County’s budget office. This is the same MPS budget leader who oversaw the district going $46 million over budget last school year.

No family or child should be deprived of care because of cost. As a dad of three girls, I know just how important good childcare is to a family’s success, and my visit to @penfieldcenter only reinforced that. As your governor, I will cap the cost of childcare at 7% and ensure every child under 5 has a subsidized slot.

Trump is still obsessing over the 2020 election he lost and now FBI agents are showing up at the Milwaukee County Elections Director’s home. That is unacceptable. We will always cooperate with law enforcement. But this looks like intimidation, plain and simple. The truth is not changing. The 2020 election was safe and secure. Clerks did their jobs. Trump lost the popular vote in Wisconsin. No strong arm tactics will change that.
