As we see the latest rise in the number of homeless - Depaul Ireland is calling on any new government to take radical action as we hit a new record level with 14,760 accessing local authority managed emergency accommodation. A radical approach is needed to addressing this national crisis.
The housing market is not working for those most vulnerable, and the coming election must give hope to those more than 14,760 people languishing in temporary accommodation.

It's a great day when one of our service users moves out of homelessness and into a place they can call home. After 15 years without stable housing, Glen has finally found peace in his new South Dublin apartment, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Depaul Ireland's Case Management Team, @DubCityCouncil , and @sdublincoco staff.
While we celebrate Glen's success, our work is far from over. Over the next three years, Depaul aims to move 3,500 more people like Glen out of homelessness. We need your help to make this happen.
Today, over 14,000 people in Ireland face homelessness. With your support, we can help more individuals like Glen find stability and build better lives. Together, let’s end homelessness in Ireland.
