20 years ago I left Next in tears because I was too big for its largest sizes. I returned again today and bought myself a new wardrobe. I was overcome with emotion again, but it was pride and delight rather than shame and revulsion. It may just be Next but it’s a big deal 4 me.

@SalfordNow is a superb online newspaper created by Salford University students. Crisp writing, timely and relevant stories, no clickbait, great insights and a website free of the usual local news site clutter. They’re setting a standard that the industry should take note of.

It is with incredible sadness and such shock to report that Andy Dyer, Commodore Format’s first staff writer, died this week. He was a deeply funny and hugely loveable man and a brilliant writer. We will miss you so much, Andy.
