I look forward to the last home game, even if there are a few empty places at the table. If you knew these three, you knew everything there was to know about Manchester United. Tom was an encyclopaedia. Ian stood up for us all. Mark was a loyal friend. RIP #UTFR

968 tickets for a game 60,000 of us went to last time. This is a joke. Surely the FA have to intervene here.

Joint Statement from Manchester United fans groups regarding FA Youth Cup venue The news that the FA Youth Cup Final, a great fixture which has heralded so many superstars of the future, is to be played in a stadium of just 6,000 people is a disgrace.

Statement from MUST and fan reps on @ManUtd Fans Forum re Youth Cup final venue. Call decision 'a disgrace'. "The news that the FA Youth Cup Final, a great fixture which has heralded so many superstars of the future, is to be played in a stadium of just 6,000 people is a disgrace. Last time United were in the final we had 67,000 fans in Old Trafford so allowing this massive game to be played in front of such a paltry few fans is letting down supporters and denying these young footballers the biggest night of their careers so far. The FA needs to step in and ensure the game can be played at either the Etihad or Old Trafford. Time to put fans first for once."

You’ve got the best two youth teams in England meeting in the FA Youth Cup final. The idea that it’s played in a 6,000 capacity stadium at MCFC is such a shame. 60,000 would watch this game if it was done right.

The FA Youth Cup Final being played at the 6,000 capacity Joie stadium is a disgrace. The FA and other football authorities need to stop kowtowing to Manchester City. If they refuse to fulfil a home fixture at the main stadium within a set timeframe, it should be taken off them.

So because City think it’s embarrassing for them that 1000s more reds would show up for the Youth Cup final, they’re denying all those lads the chance of playing in front of a 60k+ crowd and hosting the final in that tiny ground? Proper tight.

Preposterous. Nothing but sympathy for the Jota fam but @MU_ST doing nothing of the sort. We contacted journo to deny, he refuses to take it down. Tells you everything you need to know. Only thing we hope to applaud tmrw is doing the double over LFC & qualifying for CL. #UTFR

There’ll be a new 18m flag in W204 & over 350 flags across the whole of T1 tonight. Just a friendly reminder to leave the flags where you find them at the end of the game & not to take them home with you - these are NOT A GIFT 🤦‍♂️ If there’s a flag on your seat then get involved & use it, life’s too short to be miserable 😉🇾🇪

Putting football rivalry aside, Ian was a really good advocate on issues that affect all football supporters. A sad loss still to football supporter activism His daughter ran the London marathon today in his memory. If people are able, please do not donate 👇

It’s not just the Supporters Board or some supporter groups. It’s not just some supporters, or just the Kop. It’s Anfield and supporters made their feelings clear. LFC, please listen to your supporters.
