It’s been a blast spending the last few years up here. What a great industry. Absolute privilege to work at @BayerGolfCA and having a chance to play a small part in the success stories created by golf course superintendents. Can’t wait to reconnect at GIS at some point.

Lots going on at the farm @northlightswine. New irrigation installed ahead of 10000 rhubarb to be planted this week and next, as well as a few hundred baby saskatoons went in the ground

It’s hard to keep staff moral up with these little extra jobs going into a long weekend!

All in all it was a great day. No issues with the irrigation stated up and managed to make it home for Easter dinner. Have a good season everyone.

Started up the irrigation on Easter Sunday. Not because I wanted to - because I had to. Some greens are scary dry! Happy Easter

@les8thomas @greenhorizonsod Sorry Lesley. Iam not a good tweeter. The tee had been oversees with fast and fine (fescue and perennial ryegrass mix ) from Ontario Seed company for years. There was some bentgrass on the areas that were too uneven to use. I have low mow bluegrass at valley course and works well

Why level the driving range tee yourself when Scott from @greenhorizonsod can do it better and faster. Great job.

@wgcgreens_brad @Practical_T_C Sorry for the late reply. They came Sunday afternoon at 3 pm and did nine holes and the other 20 greens (2pratice greens ) on Monday. They were finished around 3 pm. Approx 120000sq ft

The Eastern Newt is fairly common at our Valley course yet I have never seen one at our East course only 4 km away. Very cool!

A little late, but I harvested my first ever batch of Friendly Foragers Honey from the Apiary at Victoria Park! 21kg total. Only harvested 1 super from 1 hive, so I am extremely happy with the yield. #golfcourseapiary #apiculture
