This argument between Morey and Myers articulates their philosophies Daryl says depth doesn't matter and argues for protecting flawed Star players Myers prefers depth. Morey roasts Bob's drafting (Myers sucks at drafting, Morey excels in this area)

Mike Brown: "When I was in Golden State and we played Houston, we counted James Harden's dribbles. We told our guys he's dribbling close to 1000 times a game. Keep picking him up full court and making him dribble. At the end of the game, it would wear him down."

Gonna reuse this take for Cavs now. Can’t blow a 13 pt lead with 14 min left then head into G2 down 0-1 and feel good about the series at all.

Spurs balling, entering a lowkey desperation moment… lose this one and face proposition of Shai playing well moving forward, while down 0-1 coming off heartbreaker.

There is a fair argument for moving on from Morey based on results. But firing him as a punishment vs. firing him because you have someone you believe will be better are two different things. It is worth noting that firing Morey does not rid you of the Embiid or PG contracts.
