My father shared literature with me, claiming that we have horns that grow out whenever we are in the temple, that the DC temple has an Oval Office already constructed so that when we take over the country, it’s all ready to go, and that the Provo temple spire (before the redesign), was a rocketship to take us to outer space at the end of the world. Just because it’s insulting doesn’t mean it’s not funny.

My 10 year old has been dealing with anti mormons online saying we believe God is an Alien. I've never heard this before. Is this the same idea as us being "athiest"?

I gotta admit, “turn crockery over, scrape butter” has been the shameful farce I have been perpetrating for 20 years, knowing to my soul it was a hollow and meaningless fraud. Idaho and Utah mormonism is more relevant since we're talking about Idaho politics. Even if the faithful haven't drifted, like the papists, there leaders have.

This. Exactly. Idaho is on the brink of becoming Colorado. I've stated numerous times in multiple speeches where I stand for HOURS answering unscripted questions... I will work with LDS (and all liberty loving Idahoans) to expose lies, evil, corruption, etc in our gov! We will reverse course... get healthy, get rich, get free, and get back to good.

This is definitely gone beyond what I intended from my simple comment, but yeah, they’re pretty cool. I live in a fairly stressful place, so calming routines are kind of my Zen. Being able to easily butter an English muffin or some toast is better when you can do it without shredding the bread with refrigerated butter.

If all that took place in the same Mormon area (say, Utah or Idaho), you have not experienced the Church, you’ve experienced cultural Mormons. We’re not the same. The majority are as true today as they were crossing the plains. Incestuous cultures always implode. Has nothing to do with the faith.

I've lived my entire life around them; gone to school with them, had them as childhood friends, neighbors, worked with them and spoken with dozens of missionaries.

@rlcshanika @oliviakrolczyk_ Nah, you’re close. It just goes upside down when you’re not using it, into the other part with just a quarter inch or so of water in the bottom to seal off the bell. You’re just missing the smooshing of the butter into the bell so it looks bougie.
