Elon, this is a step too far. This statement shows a lack of understanding. The vile gangs responsible for the Rotherham abuse have been prosecuted and imprisoned, with investigations and inquiries dating back to the early 1990s. Keir Starmer didn’t become Director of Public Prosecutions until late 2008. Under his leadership, multiple grooming gang cases were successfully prosecuted. While there were early CPS failures to act on some rape allegations, those ultimately led to the conviction of nine men. Starmer has attributed these failures to the CPS’s outdated approach to assessing victim credibility, not to concerns over Islamophobia. Therefore, this claim has been found to be false.

There's an ex-council house in my village for sale for £795k. It does have 4 bedrooms, a garden + car parking. But it amazes me that this house was once for normal, working class people. Now you'd need 2 adults working full-time in well-paid jobs to have this standard of house.
