Trump is LYING again. US refineries need heavy crude to run efficiently. Most American oil is light sweet crude. We still import heavy oil through the Strait of Hormuz. No major oil companies are “ditching” the Strait for Texas. Tankers aren’t choosing America because “they like it better.” This is pure fantasy and cope. His unnecessary war spiked prices.
