@BubbleyBrain Authors need to stand together against AI "art" - every single one of us needs to reject it.

Also, have a poll #writingcommunity... Tor / Bramble (yes, that TOR) used AI stock art on their Gothikana book cover. Yep, this is the state of the industry when famous sci-fi/fantasy publisher uses AI. Do you still want to submit your manuscripts to them?

So my entire generation has grown up watching movies like The Terminator and The Matrix and when we finally invent AI everyone is like "Oh this is pretty cool, let's try it out." Really?

@rohan_oduill Any potential benefits are dwarfed by the dangers. Generative AI will destroy our culture, economy and society. Artificial general intelligence would destroy our species.

@DavidJMarriott Yeah, like I'm not against AI in general. But I feel it needs to be responsibly used and precautions put in place. Whereas it seems to be let's make as much money as quickly as possible is the only driving factor🤷
