@hankrsmith I've noted this point a few times in conversation with others. Much of His teachings would only begin to make sense in subsequent crises. To a certain extent, I only really started to understand the lessons of my youth when my adult crises started to hit.

I love the content in the manual “Teaching in the Savior’s Way” but I wish it had a different name. To teach like Jesus we’d need to walk into the classroom, tell a story, not explain it, and then walk out.

The Savior’s true disciples build, lift, encourage, persuade, and inspire. True disciples of Jesus Christ are peacemakers.
