@DavidKaye28 Kids can still visit as many schools as they want after the portal closes. They don't have to be committed by the time it closes, they just have to be in the portal. Right now there's too many kids agreeing to NIL deals with their current school and then shopping for better.

@DustinDoesPoker I like 2. Problem with 1 is you have to give time for kids to take multiple visits. Could potentially shorten it though, just think 3 days is too short.

@DavidKaye28 IMO: 1) Shorten the portal to just 3 days. The portal being open for so long just allows teams to tamper longer. 2) Players should have to sit out one season if they've already transferred once. (Unless their coach leaves)

@AaronCovington New game, new time of day, and coming back from 7 month break not the ideal situation, but really excited to be back streaming with a new challenge to take on!

@DavidKaye28 The massive viewership dump will suck but you just have to grind through it. I’ve shifted my content to a politics/philosophy and gaming mix and I’m starting to slowly rise once again after 2 months. It was really really rough for a few weeks there. 😂

@TylerP_Poker Biggest concern is there is varying advice from accountants being shared publicly, which tells me there isn’t even a consistent opinion from professionals on how to handle the tax change. This is why I’m very hesitant to play online in 2026 at the moment.

@DavidKaye28 You should speak with someone about this just in case. I saw somebody posting about it. If your business is content/influencing then you playing is a full business expense write off not a gambling one?

@TylerP_Poker 90% rule would apply for anyone, doesn’t matter if they are professional or recreational

@DavidKaye28 If you’re a professional content creator, why wouldn’t you be able to write off your gambling you do for content in full instead of the 90%…

@smilethe08 Something I may do in the future. Currently have no interest in playing tournaments but my feelings on tournaments go back and forth.

Personal opinion on streaming is it hurts your results both when playing on stream and off stream since there is recent content available showing opponents how you play. With that said, definitely possible to have the results you want while playing on stream, just more difficult. The best players are more likely to maintain high performing results while streaming than I am.

@DavidKayePoker Don’t think streaming hurts your future results. If anything showing how you mix it up and are a good unpredictable player makes the good regs play abc vs you. Players like @bencb789 shown his play for years and just crushes still.

@DavidKayePoker David - I called into work sick, got a babysitter, hired a live band, and have catering for 200 people arriving any minute….and now you’re cancelling? I’m expect this from @DominicChoma , but I hold you to a higher standard. Rethink this please.

@JimSebcoe Appreciate the message Sebcoe! Unfortunately I don’t think I’m capable of playing without trying my best, too competitive for that 😂 Could do a few tournament streams in the future but at the moment I have no interest in playing tournaments. I go through stages with them though

@DavidKayePoker You don't owe the viewers anything DK. If you just missing interacting with the viewers, maybe throw in the odd low stakes 2NL / 5NL where you can just play for fun and play like a whale. You're missed, but you gotta do what's best for your BR. Good luck on the grind. (sebcoe)
