Today we celebrated César E. Chávez's 98th bday & the Committee’s 25th Anniversary! It’s incredible to witness the power of unity as we honor César's unwavering commitment to justice, dignity, & equality. Here's to continuing his mission & strengthening our collective resilience.

February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on the invaluable contributions of Black leaders and culture to our communities. As we honor these achievements, let’s recommit to the ongoing fight for a fairer, more equitable future for all.

In his Letter from Birmingham Jail, MLK wrote "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." This MLK Day, let us remember his unwavering commitment to justice. As I take on the role of Mayor, I’ll work to ensure that our City is a beacon of promoting love & kindness.
