@JoeDeCamara How about the fouls on YAC at end of half when he didn’t touch Reed and then the no call on the clear blocking foul 3 second Later at the end of the half. Or how about them slapping the shoot out of Mara every time he touched the ball
UConn as a team fouls way more than Michigan. Been that way all year. They play more aggressive defense.
There were a couple calls that I thought could’ve been no calls but the refs didn’t decide that game
@UpperDeckRep0rt@BoudiccaFTW@GameDayConor Don’t have to tell me. I’ve seen Uconn win several national championships. They’ll be back. With an even bigger target on their back I’m sure. UConn is the gold standard of college basketball
@DavidLazicki@BoudiccaFTW@GameDayConor No one cares, Uconn shot 31% from the field for an entire game. You’re not winning a national championship doing that 😂
@BoudiccaFTW@UpperDeckRep0rt@GameDayConor Prior to last night, no national championship team had ever scored more than 28% of their total points from the free throw line. Michigan scored over 35% of their points on free throws. Yea, I’m sure UConn should’ve been called for twice as many fouls..
Interested to see if Mullins stays especially with how loaded the draft is this year.
With a year as a top scoring option, he could definitely improve his draft stock
UConn had no business playing in this game.
Duke and Michigan were the two best teams all year.
The country deserved round 2 tonight & it’s a damn shame we didn’t get it.
I know people thought UConn got a bad whistle tonight but they chose to play that way. It was the only chance they had.
Fouls were out of whack in the first half but second half I thought it was even officiating. Michigan was just better.
@BadCallOfficial Would’ve been a jump ball if it was UConn with possession. Refs were oddly letting Michigan get away with being much more physical than UConn that’s undeniable.
@CrazyFans6@JoeDeCamara You’re right. No whistle, no foul. But you can’t be telling me you think it was a consistent whistle all night. Regardless, make shots and the whistles don’t matter. Some big shots didn’t fall for UConn tonight.
@waistdeep24@JasonGo95604250@JoeDeCamara UConn’s style is to find the open shot, not so much to beat you with contested shots so they naturally don’t get as many whistles as teams who get to the basket. But tonight, UConn got no whistles near the baskets. And picked up ticky tack whistles away from the basket on defense
@DavidLazicki@JasonGo95604250@JoeDeCamara Right. Jason came up with 2 missed calls on UConn, one being a wild last second halfcourt, drive into the defenders chest and chuck it up. And the third being “they slapped the shit out of Mara every touch” there was about 8-10 blatant misses against UConn
@JoeDeCamara Watch in slow motion. First was the closest foul, but he’s straight up. Player trying to dunk but went into the backboard. 2nd is incidental contact between feet, third is a clear flop on the guy boxing out. He self “launched” trying to get a foul.
