News from #Moriond The b->sll Anomalies are more than back. The CMS measurement (CMS-PAS-BPH-23-003) of Bs->phimumu is around 4 sigma below the SM, as expected from the other measurements

"A few days ago, I typed into codex: “i wrote a paper 25 years ago with a model for evolving dark energy. Can you write code that chooses parameters in that model so that it gets distances consistent with the latest DESI results?” In about 5 minutes, it produced ..."

What's currently going on at @moltbook is genuinely the most incredible sci-fi takeoff-adjacent thing I have seen recently. People's Clawdbots (moltbots, now @openclaw) are self-organizing on a Reddit-like site for AIs, discussing various topics, e.g. even how to speak privately.

"The most important thing in the next 3-4 years is data centers in space. In every way, data centers in space, from a first principles perspective, are superior to data centers on earth. In space, you can keep a satellite in the sun 24 hours a day. The sun is 30% more intense, which results in six times more irradiance than on Earth. So you don't need a battery. The cooling in these data centers is incredibly complicated. Space cooling is free. You just put a radiator on the dark side of the satellite. The only thing faster than a laser going through a fiber optic cable is a laser going through absolute vacuum. Link satellites with lasers, and you have a faster and more coherent network than any data center on Earth."

Good overview of the landing. We nominally target a few hundred feet away from Jacklyn to avoid a severe impact if engines fail to start or start slowly. We’ll incrementally reduce that conservatism over time. We are all excited and grateful for yesterday. Amazing performance by the team! Gradatim Ferociter.

Here's the full photo briefly featured in my recent video post showing @BlackGryph0n against the full solar chromosphere after his jump. Crazy how small he looks despite being nearly 50,000,000x closer! This ended up being my most popular print (vs the closeup) linked in my bio.

The moment of the jump, captured in hydrogen alpha light to resolve the sun’s atmosphere. We decided to release the photo in print- both as an up close shot and showing the full disc of the sun, which you can see here: cosmicbackground.io/pages/ea_the-f…

Immense planning and technical precision was required for this absolutely preposterous (but real) view: I captured my friend @BlackGryph0n transiting the sun during a skydive. This might be the first photo of it's kind in existence. See a video of this moment in the reply 👇
