If you feed fear, you’re going to live fearful. If you feed discouragement, you’re going to live discouraged. If you feed the past, if you keep dwelling on what didn’t work out, the mistakes you’ve made, you’ll live in regrets. Pay attention to what you’re feeding.

Don’t miss opportunities to be a friend with faith. Your faith can help someone else get back on course. Your faith can help break the strongholds of addictions and dysfunction. Your faith can bring healing and wholeness.

The Scripture says, “Come boldly to the throne of grace.” You won’t go boldly if you’re always begging. You won’t pray with confidence if you’re asking again and again for the same thing. You need to switch out of the asking mode and into the thanking mode.

Don't have a weak, defeated mentality. “I can’t handle this. It’s too much.” Have a new perspective. “Yes, I’m hurting, but still I rise. Yes, it looks bad, but still I believe. Yes, I’m outnumbered, but still I trust. Still I move forward. Still I dream. Still I expect the goodness of God.”

The Spirit of God will cause you to move forward, to continue on and pursue your purpose, despite what’s trying to stop you. You may be going through a tough season now. It feels overwhelming. On our own, by ourselves, we would get stuck there. When we get knocked down, we’d stay down. But here’s the good news, you can move forward while still hurting, you can trust even though there are unanswered questions, you can praise through the pain, you can speak victory in the middle of trouble.

Stand in faith. Stand knowing God is working. Stand expecting things to change. You may not see how. You may not know when, but one thing you know is that God is faithful. He is in control. What He purposed will come to pass.

Don’t let pride, what people will think, cause you to miss your destiny. Be willing to change. Listen to the warnings. They’re not there to restrict you, to control you, they’re there to keep you from getting into things that are going to pull you down.

Are you going to hit the snooze button, ignore the warning, do what you want? Or are you going to take heed and obey what you’re feeling? God is not trying to limit you; He’s trying to protect you. He can see what you can’t see.

The Scripture says, “Don’t hang around angry people or you will become angry.” It says, “If you walk with wise men, you will become wise.” If you want to know what you’re going to be like in five years, look at your friends.

God will warn you of things you can’t see. He’ll whisper to your spirit. Instead of ignoring it, we need to obey when we don’t understand, trust when it doesn’t make sense. Recognize that God is keeping you from unnecessary trouble and heartache.

God accepts and approves you right where you are: faults, mistakes, shortcomings, and all. He knows you’re on a journey. He’s changing you little by little. He accepts you. Now, you have to accept yourself.
