Spurs have to go interim/short term surely. No one is taking the job on a long term agreement given the mess they are in (like De Zerbi).

Spurs sounded out Roberto De Zerbi to see whether he would join before the summer. As it stands, the Italian still remains inclined to wait, as revealed on @talkSPORT with @alex_crook. He remains a strong candidate to take the role permanently if Spurs avoid relegation. Prior to Atletico Madrid in the #UCL, Spurs made a list of up to eight interim bosses. These included Adi Hutter and Sean Dyche. Challenge with Dyche is offsetting his Nottingham Forest payoff which will end with new work, making him expensive. Spurs are prepared to pay a significant stay up bonus. Other names discussed are Robbie Keane, Chris Hughton and Harry Redknapp, none of whom have had contact as of Sunday lunch. Keane is also appreciated by Crystal Palace and hoping for a long-term role. Ryan Mason, Ben Davies, Glenn Hoddle and Tim Sherwood also discussed. One idea proposed is to have someone with a Spurs affinity on the coaching staff even if not the lead coach. Bruno Saltor will take training until a new appointment is determined. Although no one is lined up yet, Spurs feel prepared due to legwork done dating back to before their #UCL exit.⚪️

FIFA getting into bed with Trump was always going to end up with fans paying the ultimate price. If fans across the globe saw sense & came together as a collective, they should all boycott the tournament. It’s shameful what is going on.

This summers tournament shouldn’t be called the FIFA World Cup; it’s should be renamed the FIFA Exploitation Cup. From the quite frankly absurd ticket costs, to visa bond payments subjected to certain fans, and general inflated Accomodation/travel costs, it’s just exploitation.

The 49ers, if they fly directly back to CA following the Australia game, would land mid-afternoon on Friday of Week 1. Long weekend back home before Week 2.
Melbourne -> SFO is a ~14-hour flight. It crosses back over the date line so one lands (by the clock) before takeoff time

It’s hard to look at this squad (Saliba clearly comes back in) and not think they are clear favourites to win it this summer. The depth they have all over the pitch is absolutely absurd. One of the most talented squads we’ve ever seen going into a WC IMO.

To be fair though, I’ve complained in previous rounds about £40 being too much considering the quality of opposition we’re facing..
But I actually think £35/40 for a European Quarter-Final against Fiorentina is a fair price.
