@frankkeane @PGE4Me Because of the extensive damage caused by the fire, we don’t yet know the root cause. We do know fire damaged a circuit breaker, which was a factor in the outage. We’ve engaged an expert third party (Exponent) to do a root cause evaluation.

Crews continue to make progress on complex repairs necessary to restore power to the remaining 3,800 customers affected by the substation outage. PG&E’s Director of Substation Construction and Maintenance Jerry Haymon, III shares updates from inside the substation. Remaining customers should be completely restored by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

@DavidMcCulloch Yes, that was a legitimate email that we sent out to all Wells Fargo Visa credit cardholders. We had an overwhelming response, and now the FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket promotion is over. All tickets were sold quickly, and the promotion has now ended. Thank you for your inquiry.

That wrong number text may be more than a mistake — it can be the first step in a scam. Don’t respond, report the sender, and delete.
