@MemphisHomer I appreciate you covering the WBB situation. I was an assistant for Melissa for 1 year and loved it at Memphis. I don’t know the NIL situation for the new coach, but the Memphis WBB job is tough. Elma Roane is not close to any other venue in that league.

If the new WBB coach at Memphis is not making at least 500,000 with at least 600,000 in NIL Revenue Sharing the administration and boosters are failing them. With Jose Fernandez moving to the WNBA. The highest paid mid major WBB coach currently is George Mason Vanessa Blair-Lewis who is going to make around 600,000 next year if she stay at George Mason. She also the leading candidate for the USF WBB coach job. Fernandez was making 800,000. Coach Simmons was making around 300,000. The crazy part is Memphis is considered one of the top 5 mid majors WBB coaching in the country, but also one the hardest

Simply not true. Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf (Chris Jackson) scored 48 points in the third game of his career(!) and had 53 and 55 later in his freshman season.
