@Super70sSports Kaplan beating Conrad? I'd have lost that bet. How much did CBS pay him for the misspeak though? 😂

Greatest racing performances of the 70s: 1. Secretariat at the 1973 Belmont 2. Gabe Kaplan at the 1976 Battle of the Network Stars I may have the order wrong.

@baseballinpix It was also said Cobb did this so pitchers/catchers wouldn't know where he was looking to put the ball. Choked up was opposite field, at the knob was pull.

A good picture of Ty Cobb's split hand grip. He kept his hands apart to maximize his bat control, allowing him to put the ball in play exactly where he wanted it. With a lifetime .366 batting average, it is hard to argue with the results. Could a modern hitter succeed with a grip like this today?

@ReBobzilla1001 @VinnysCorner1 On top of a very long list of champion punks. Name a fighter who wasn't a punk at some point? If Cus D'Amato hadn't died, Tyson would have broken the records undefeated. Once that anchor was removed he spiraled out of control. He didn't just beat people, he destroyed them.

@ReBobzilla1001 @VinnysCorner1 Not early Mike he wouldn't have. Then again, Ali was indeed great because he was a boxer, not a puncher. Tyson was a brawler just like Frazier. Tyson would have dropped him. But Ali would have kicked his ass in the rematch.

@DavidMigoya @VinnysCorner1 No one gave Ali fits more than Ken Norton. Norton broke Ali's jaw in the first or second round of a fight that went the distance. Ali would've chewed up little Mike and spit him out.

#5? In 1954, a 20-year-old Hank Aaron debuted wearing a number few remember, #5 Hank hit .280 with 13 HR and finished 4th in Rookie of the Year voting. The next season, he switched to #44 and the rest is history. Did you know Aaron wore #5 his rookie season?

Game 7 of the World Series. Bottom of the 9th. Your team is up by 1. Rickey Henderson is on 2nd and Tony Gwynn lines a single into RF You have your choice of any RF, of any era, to try and nab Henderson at Home. Who gets the call?

CBS has sought comment on whether this video circulating online is real. It appears to show FBI Director Kash Patel chugging a beer in the locker room with the men’s USA hockey team. His spokesman previously told us the trip was for government business, and not personal.
