At the @IAMG_Math_Geo 2023 Annual Meeting in #Trondheim, #Norway, at 63.4° N! Enjoyed a beautiful organ performance at the Nidaros Cathedral. Constructed from 1070 - 1300 AD, one of the most beautiful structures that I’ve ever experienced! Stoked to be here with my most senior #PhD students, Midé Mabadeje & Jose Hernandez Mejia. Both are giving talks on Thursday!

@RobertCMahon @ZaneJobe @DavidNworie1 I have a camsizer that's even closer than Laramie - it doesn't do 3D tracking but I've never been dissatisfied with shape and in benchmarking tests I helped run it was a lot better with size esp with finer grains than the demo Partan.

Looking for recommendations for labs that can do measurements for laser grain size and/or QICPIC analysis - this is for @DavidNworie1 's thesis, and we are especially intersted in particle shape, not just size. Utah State? Montana?

A beach with mixed carbonate and siliciclastic sediments… even tho some of the sediments are dredged it was cool to observe the hydro-dynamics here at the Atlantic coast of Miami! BTW warm is the new chill!
