been spending a lot of time on the 'replacing Lineker' conundrum this morning. i think a big problem is in recent years a lot of people who could have been good measured presenters instead learned the big cartoon style that works well on tiktok and youtube but nowhere else

I wish I could drive but I'm SCARED. I'm 35 and every time I'm in a car I'm like 'how are they doing this...this is so scary?' I feel like my OCD would take over and if I don't do "X" 5 times in a row I'll end up killing someone and also everyone I love and run over a cat. Urgh.

It's £70 (!!) for a return train ticket for a 2 hour journey with 3 changes (ended up taking 3 hours cos everything was delayed). There are no coach/bus routes available either, so it's that or nothing. Love national rail!!!!
