Ascot charged students 5 pounds Thousands turned up and spent money A few of those will be bitten by the bug that is racing Ascot was selling empty space. Filled the place up. Created a lovely atmosphere If thousands turned up racetracks, and you don’t charge ridiculous rates for entrance because of it, won’t you find food and alcohol sales, even betting sales, you would never have had?
