It’s #TwitterModelTrainShow time again and I thought I would do a brief survey of some of the model train things we are doing and working with at Newcastle Museum and Newcastle Library!

We are now working towards the model being a permanent display at the museum in the second half of 2024, and the star of a temporary blockbuster exhibition all about models and miniatures in 2025. This footage also includes shots of Hexhamish #TwitterModelTrainShow

We’ve started installing a new exhibition for City Library: Railway Portraits- the photography of Robert and Bruce Wheatley. Satisfying to see this go from a sketch to a real thing. As the personal reflection from Bruce shows it’s never *just* about trains.

I FINALLY watched Ghostwatch after all these years of recommendation from you Brits It really is phenomenal. Even going into it knowing it's all fake, it still has SO much power. A cat walked by my window and looked in, and I literally JUMPED out my skin. Great stuff!
