A3: So many frameworks go after the same thing: Reaching and honoring learners. This includes UDL, CRP, CRT, FoK, and more.. I do not know if it is possible to combine all this into one, I do believe, it is possible to PD ongoing-ly and include as much as possible. #UDLChat

A3: There are so many intersections with trauma informed teaching, culturally responsive teaching, antiracist teaching- but it’s not explicit- yet. #UDLchat It’s about shifting the paradigm from power(done to) to agency (done with).

@FritzTesha I’ve been working on some Crosswalk documents tying UDL to culturally responsive teaching, trauma-informed teaching, & SEL to show Ts that UDL is not just one more thing! #udlchat

One of the things i like best about expanding the scope of UDL to include all kinds of Identities (not just abilities) is that we learn something from each. I was chagrined to think that we addressed disabilities but not ableism in the guidelines, Racism taught me that #UDLchat

@CTmagazine Thank you so much for this editorial. It honors my father, an incredibly successful and highly evangelical Christian missionary. He would have been appalled to think that the Christianity he served for 50 years could be so easily hijacked by an immoral braggart and huckster.
