We're Highly Commended for the Innovative Award for Quality Improvement at the RLDatix Awards 2023. Our project ‘Driving Down Waiting Lists with an Innovative Staff Rostering System’ was implemented to address staffing pressures and support elective surgery waiting lists.

Congratulations to Niamh, Kris and the Workforce Deployment Team! Great example of what can be achieved with workforce systems to benefit the organisation, our teams and patients.

Future phases include Medics and our iFM colleagues. We'll take lessons learned from this phase into those to hopefully do things even better. Thanks again to everyone who has helped this week, it's truly appreciated, do bear with us whilst we resolve the remaining issues.

We're still working on some of the teething issues but, mostly, it's now up-and-running and, with the interface active to @AllocateS Optima/HealthRoster from day 1, our Managers and Matrons can go into the weekend confident that SafeCare holds an accurate staffing picture.

Exhausted from the work this week but proud of the @boltonnhsft Workforce Deployment Team for doing absolutely everything we could to make the transition to @NHSPbank as smooth as it could possibly be. Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding during this period.

@rijan44 @henshpaul Eesh. Sorry to hear that. In my case I was upset I wasn't allowed to give him any of my food (I couldn't eat at the time) for reasons that were never explained to me.

@DavidSMulligan @henshpaul Aye. When I mum was in hospital in July we resorted to bringing her food ourselves as they often forgot to being her vegetarian option and often just offered 2 yoghurt instead 🤦🏾‍♂️
